Dr. April Glesinger was raised right here in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with a major in psychology and minors in biology and chemistry. Dr. Glesinger was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society and the National Dean's List. She received her podiatric medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia where she also graduated with high honors from Pi Delta National Honor Society. After a two year prestigious podiatric surgical residency at several major medical centers in Houston, TX Dr. Glesinger returned to Arizona to practice medicine in the state she considers home.
Dr. Glesinger started her private practice in 2004 and is proud to provide individualized care to people of all ages and needs in the Tucson community. Dr. Glesinger sees patients for a range of issues including ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, nail fungus, hammertoes, bunions, skin lesions, warts and fractures as well as many other foot conditions.
In her spare time Dr. Glesinger enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, cooking, working out and staying active. Her family has been on the board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for the past 9 years since her oldest son was diagnosed with Type I diabetes. They work diligently to raise money in hopes to one day find a cure. Dr. Glesinger's personal association with diabetes makes her a more compassionate doctor and person in dealing with diabetic patients as well patients with other medical conditions.
